Corin West is a Deputy Legislative Counsel. She joined the office in 2020.

Ms. West is assigned to a branch of the office that handles laws relating to courts, criminal law, estates and trusts, family law, gaming, health and care facilities, health care service plans, health insurance, insurance, juveniles, Medi-Cal, military and veterans, prevailing wage, public health, public social services, vehicles, and workers’ compensation.

Prior to joining the office, Ms. West worked as an attorney for the State Compensation Insurance Fund. She also worked as a Deputy Public Defender in Shasta County.

Ms. West received her J.D. from the University of California, Davis, King Hall School of Law. She earned her undergraduate degree in English and political science from the University of California, Davis.

Ms. West is a member of the California State Bar.
