Dan Moore is a Deputy Legislative Counsel. He joined the office in 2020.

Mr. Moore is assigned to a branch of the office that handles laws relating to alcoholic beverage control, business, civil law, financial institutions, healing arts, housing and community development, land use, local government, private employment, professions and vocations, public contracts, public employment, retirement, state government, taxation and unemployment insurance.

Prior to joining the office, Mr. Moore worked as an associate attorney and tax counsel in private practice.

Mr. Moore received his J.D. from the University of California, Davis, in 2014, where he was an executive articles editor for the UC Davis Law Review. Mr. Moore also holds an LLM in the laws of taxation from Golden Gate University.

Mr. Moore is a member of the California State Bar.
