Amanda Glenn is a Deputy Legislative Counsel. She joined the office in 2022.

Ms. Glenn is assigned to a branch of the office that handles laws relating to courts, criminal law, estates and trusts, family law, gaming, health and care facilities, health care service plans, health insurance, insurance, juveniles, Medi-Cal, military and veterans, prevailing wage, public health, public social services, vehicles, and workers’ compensation.

Prior to joining the office, Ms. Glenn was an associate attorney at several private law firms focusing on civil law, including insurance coverage and employment law matters. Ms. Glenn clerked for the Center for Biological Diversity and interned with the Office of Legislative Counsel. 

Ms. Glenn received her J.D. cum laude from UC College of the Law, San Francisco. She earned an undergraduate degree in political science from the University of Denver, cum laude.  

Ms. Glenn is a member of the California State Bar.
