Mina Hamilton is a Deputy Legislative Counsel. She joined the office in 2019.
Ms. Hamilton is assigned to a branch of the office that handles laws relating to air resources, elementary and secondary education, fish and wildlife, food and agriculture, harbors and navigation, hazardous materials, postsecondary education, public resources, public safety, public utilities, solid waste, streets and highways, transportation, and water.
Prior to joining the office, Ms. Hamilton served as an attorney in the Legal Affairs Division of the California Department of Consumer Affairs. Prior to her state service, she was in private practice, focusing on intellectual property litigation and transactional work.
Ms. Hamilton received her J.D. from UCLA School of Law. She earned her undergraduate degree in international studies from Pepperdine University.
Ms. Hamilton is a member of the California State Bar.
