Brian A. Bobb

Brian A. Bobb, who joined the office in 2015, is a supervisor in the Legislative Services Branch. This branch is responsible for advising Members and legislative staff on legislative procedure, appropriations and the State Budget, the Political Reform Act of 1974, election law, litigation, personnel issues, and other legislative matters, and for drafting contracts and leases.

Prior to joining the office, Mr. Bobb worked as a law clerk for the Honorable Thomas C. Holman in the United States Bankruptcy Court for the Eastern District of California. He also practiced litigation in the areas of creditors’ rights, bankruptcy, and distressed assets and real estate.  

Mr. Bobb received his J.D. in 2006, cum laude, from Indiana University, Maurer School of Law, where he was the Senior Managing Editor of the Indiana Law Journal. He earned his undergraduate degree in history from the University of California, Santa Barbara in 2000.

He is a member of the California State Bar.
