Natalie Moore, who joined the office in 2009, is a supervisor of the branch of the office that handles laws relating to courts, criminal law, estates and trusts, family law, gaming, health and care facilities, health care service plans, health insurance, insurance, juveniles, Medi-Cal, military and veterans, prevailing wage, public health, public social services, vehicles, and workers’ compensation.  She was previously assigned to the Opinion Branch, which develops and presents the formal legal opinions of the Office of Legislative Counsel.

Prior to joining the office, Ms. Moore practiced family law in Sacramento, El Dorado, and Yolo Counties. She also served as a law clerk for Union Pacific Railroad and the employment law firm, Carlton DiSante & Frenderberger.

Ms. Moore received her J.D. from the University of California, Davis, King Hall School of Law, where she was the copy editor for the “Journal of Juvenile Law and Policy.” During law school, she received the Witkin Award for Family Law and the Imwinkelried-Clark Scholarship. Ms. Moore earned her undergraduate degree from California State University, Sacramento, where she graduated magna cum laude.
