Stephanie Hoehn is a deputy legislative counsel. She joined the office in 2009.

Ms. Hoehn is assigned to a branch of the office that handles laws relating to air resources, elementary and secondary education, fish and wildlife, food and agriculture, harbors and navigation, hazardous materials, postsecondary education, public resources, public safety, public utilities, solid waste, streets and highways, transportation, and water.  Her practice is focused primarily on water law.

Prior to joining the office, Ms. Hoehn was a law clerk in the Office of the City Attorney for the City of Palo Alto. She also worked as a judicial intern for the Honorable Charlene Padovani Kiesselbach, San Francisco Superior Court.

She received her J.D. from the University of California, Hastings College of the Law, where she graduated cum laude and was a managing editor of the Hastings Law Journal. She earned her undergraduate degree in Political Science from the University of California, Los Angeles.

Ms. Hoehn is a member of the California State Bar.
