Brian A. Bobb is a deputy legislative counsel. He joined the office in 2015.
Mr. Bobb is assigned to a branch of the office that handles laws relating to courts, criminal law, estates and trusts, family law, gaming, health and care facilities, health care service plans, health insurance, insurance, juveniles, Medi-Cal, military and veterans, prevailing wage, public health, public social services, vehicles, and workers’ compensation.
Prior to joining the office, Mr. Bobb worked as a law clerk for the Honorable Thomas C. Holman in the United States Bankruptcy Court for the Eastern District of California, from 2006-2008 and from 2010-2014. He also practiced litigation in the areas of creditors’ rights, bankruptcy, and distressed assets and real estate in San Francisco, California, from 2008-2010.
Mr. Bobb received his J.D. from Indiana University, Maurer School of Law, cum laude in 2006, where he was the Senior Managing Editor of the Indiana Law Journal. He earned his undergraduate degree in history from the University of California, Santa Barbara in 2000.
He is a member of the California State Bar.
