Aimee Martin, who joined the office in 2014, is a supervisor in the branch of the office that handles laws relating to courts, criminal law, estates and trusts, family law, gaming, health and care facilities, health care service plans, health insurance, insurance, juveniles, Medi-Cal, military and veterans, prevailing wage, public health, public social services, vehicles, and workers’ compensation.

Prior to joining the office, Ms. Martin worked as a judicial extern for the Honorable Ronald B. Robie, Associate Justice for the California Court of Appeal, Third District. She was also an intern for the Office of Legislative Counsel, an extern for the Sacramento City Attorney, a research assistant for Professor Brian Slocum, and an intern for Judge Jill Fannin of the Contra Costa Superior Court.

Ms. Martin received her J.D. from the University of the Pacific, McGeorge School of Law where she graduated with great distinction and was awarded membership in the Order of the Coif. Ms. Martin received the ALI-ABA Scholarship & Leadership Award, and was selected as a Who's Who Among Students in American Universities & Colleges. Ms. Martin received multiple Witkin Awards including Administrative Law, Community Property, Constitutional Law, Contracts, and Property. She earned her undergraduate degree in U.S. History from the University of California, Berkeley.

Ms. Martin is a member of the California State Bar.
