Kathryn Londenberg is a deputy legislative counsel. She joined the office in 2011.
Ms. Londenberg is assigned to the Legislative Services Branch. This branch is responsible for advising the Members and legislative staff on legislature procedure, appropriations and the state budget, the Political Reform Act of 1974, election law, litigation, personnel issues, and other legislative matters, and for drafting contracts and leases.
Prior to joining the office, Ms. Londenberg worked for as a extern for former Chief Justice Ronald M. George at the Supreme Court of California and as a judicial intern at the Superior Court of California, County of Napa. She was also a law clerk at Ord & Norman, San Francisco.
Ms. Londenberg received her J.D. from the University of California, Hastings College of the Law and graduated cum laude. While at Hastings College of the Law, she served as the Senior Production Editor of the Hastings Law Journal and received Witkin Awards in election law, special education law, and state and local government. She earned her undergraduate degree in Political Science from the University of California, Berkeley.
Ms. Londenberg is a member of the California State Bar.
