Christina Kenzie is a deputy legislative counsel. She joined the office in 2009.

Ms. Kenzie is assigned to a branch in the office that handles laws relating to alcoholic beverage control, business, civil law, financial institutions, healing arts, housing and community development, land use, local government, private employment, professions and vocations, public contracts, public employment, retirement, state government, taxation and unemployment insurance.   

Prior to joining the office, Ms. Kenzie interned at the Golden Gate University Environmental Law and Justice Clinic and at The Austin Law Group.  She also worked as a legal intern in the San Francisco District Attorney’s Office, as an investigative intern at the Yolo County District Attorney’s Office, and as an intern with the Voluntary Legal Services Program.

Ms. Kenzie received her J.D. from Golden Gate University School of Law. She earned her undergraduate degree in English from the University of California, Davis.

Ms. Kenzie is a member of the California State Bar and the Italian American Bar Association of Northern California.
